Sergei Fedorov: Won the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP in 1994 and the first of two Selke trophies (defensive forward). He was considered one of the best players in the world during the mid-1990s to early 2000s. He played defense for a while. Had had 1,179 points in 1,248 NHL games for Detroit, Anaheim, Columbus and Washington. He had 176 points in 183 playoff games, all but 21 of them with the Wings. Chris Pronger: Whalers took him with the second overall pick of the 1993 draft. Played 18 seasons with five teams. Had 698 points and 1,590 penalty minutes in 1,167 games.
