How to snag a $5 suite at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas turns 5 this year and celebrates with this limited-time offer: Stay in a suite and pay just $5 for your second night.

The deal: The Suite Anniversary sale applies to Terrace Suites and Wraparound Terrace Suites, which come with extras such as two bathrooms, kitchenettes and outdoor terraces (as the name implies) for city views.

I checked online room prices for Dec. 18 and found suites starting at $260 to $290 a night.

If you really like this deal, you can cash in on the $5 second night more than once. You may book several two-night stays as long as there’s at least one day between your visits.

When: The sale is on from Monday to Friday only. It’s good for stays from Monday through May 31, based on availability.

Details: This is a great deal for fans of the Cosmopolitan, the almost 3,000 room resort which has an artsy-meets-elegant draw. Note you’ll still have to pay the $30 resort fee each night.
