Six hotels that will give you a free ticket to Disneyland

These Costa Mesa hotels have a present for Disneyland fans during the theme park's 60th anniversary: a free adult ticket to Disneyland or California Adventure for those who stay at least two nights by early September.

1. Avenue of the Arts Wyndham Hotel

The hotel is at 3350 Avenue of the Arts. (Avenue of the Arts Wyndham Hotel)

2. The Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa

The hotel is at South Coast Plaza, 686 Anton Blvd. (Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa)

3. The BLVD Hotel Costa Mesa

The hotel is at 2430 Newport Blvd. (BLVD Hotel Costa Mesa)

4. Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa

A king-sized room at the Hilton at 3050 Bristol St. (Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa)

5. Ayres Hotel & Suites Costa Mesa-Newport Beach

The lobby of the Ayres Hotel at 325 Bristol St. (Ayres Hotel Costa Mesa)

6. Residence Inn Marriott Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

The hotel is at 881 W. Baker St.

The deal: Costa Mesa Magical Memories Package requires a two-night stay on consecutive nights at any of these hotels. You will receive a free one-day one-park ticket per reservation (not per person).

If you want to avoid taking your car to the theme parks, you can take an Anaheim Resort Transportation shuttle from some of the hotels. For example, Bus 22 runs from BLVD Hotel to Disneyland from 7:45 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. It costs $5 for adults, $2 for children 3 to 9 years old.

Parking at Disneyland costs $17 for cars and motorcycles, and $22 for oversized vehicles.

When: You must stay from Aug. 23 through Sept. 7 to get the free theme park ticket. The ticket, however, is good through Dec. 31, 2016.

Details: I found availability online Aug. 26 to 28 at the Avenue of the Arts Wyndham Hotel for a room with two queen beds for $189 a night plus tax and fees. Choose a hotel that fits your budget if you want to take advantage of this deal.

In terms of savings, the theme park's one-day one-park ticket would cost you $99.
