Carlsbad’s West Inn & Suites offers a sale for its October fest
On Oct. 12, West Inn & Suites will serve up spaetzle and strudel and other temptations at its fourth annual OktoberWest Food, Wine and Beer event, which also offers a good room rate, tickets to the event and other freebies.
The Deal: West Inn & Suites’ OktoberWest package (the festival is 11 a.m. -3 p.m. Oct 12) allows guests to nosh, guzzle and sleep. The deal includes:
- A room rate from $219 a night for stays on Oct. 12 and/or 13;
- Two tickets to OktoberWest on Oct. 12 ($70 value)
- A welcome beer upon arrival
- All of West’s standard freebies, including shuttle service anywhere in Carlsbad, a hot breakfast buffet, parking, Wi-Fi, DVD rentals and Cookies and milk at bedtime.
Tested: I called to book a room for two on Oct. 12, and the deal was widely available. The rate for a traditional room with a king bed was $219, not including taxes and fees.
