Las Vegas: Cupid drawing back his bow all over Sin City

This Valentine’s Day, a variety of special events in Las Vegas will cater to couples, but singles can mingle (in search of that special someone) at activities created just for them. And, on what’s the busiest day of the year for marriages in the world’s wedding capital, there’s the chance to ditch the chapels and get hitched amid Sin City’s historic neon.

In search of a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner? Dozens of restaurants will offer special menus. The Michelin three-star Joel Robuchon Restaurant at MGM Grand will be offering a 13-course meal, starting with spiced strawberry gazpacho and ending with “an assortment of succulent sweets.” The “Lovers Experience” costs $435 a person.

Andrea’s, the Wynn’s newest restaurant, will feature a “Look of Love” tasting menu for $100 per person. Chef Joe Elevado, who previously ran the kitchen at l’Ermitage Beverly Hills, will create a meal that includes Kumamoto oyster with caviar, crispy king crab with creamy sweet ponzu and Wagyu strip loin.

At Caesars Palace, Payard Patisserie & Bistro will indulge guests with a four-course dinner priced at $65. Diners should be sure to save room for dessert: One of the choices is a mousse made with Guanaja chocolate from Honduras. If that’s not enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, the patisserie features Valentine’s chocolate boxes including a white chocolate flavored with mango, passion fruit and basil.

Imagine melted chocolate dripping off your fingers and then realize the dream during the Chocolate Lover’s Lane treatment at the Spa at Trump. For $460, a couple can enjoy a 60-minute, side-by-side massage that concludes with a chocolate vanilla manicure and pedicure.

If you’re thinking of tying the knot, the Neon Museum is offering couples a chance to get hitched at its boneyard for a lucky $777. The package includes a wedding (or vow renewal) amid the hulking, vintage signs that once adorned local businesses. The price includes a Champagne toast, flowers, photos and more.

Those still looking for love may want to hop on over to Señor Frog’s for the “Kiss a Frog” fiesta. Themed drinks and giveaways will be featured.

The bar inside Treasure Island is just one of the venues for Las Vegas Singles Festival on Feb. 14 and 15. The event promises to turn the town into a “singles’ paradise.”
