Newport: Spend a day, not a fortune, at the Spa at Pelican Hill

Soothe your inner everything on the cheap next week at the Spa at Pelican Hill. The spa at the 504-acre Newport resort is offering more than half-off massages and facials as part of Fall Spa Week. It’s a great time to try out expensive treatments at not-so-expensive prices.

The deal: Spa services on sale include $50 for a 50-minute Swedish massage or a 50-minute facial (usually $160 each). You can also book an hour with a personal trainer for $50 (usually $76) and spend $25 for access to the pool area. Prices don’t include tax or tip.

When: The offer is good Monday-Thursday only, and appointments are required.
