Your Scene: Highs and lows of Badwater, Calif.

Share

Badwater was the low point of Doug Hansen‘s trip to Death Valley in December. This wasn’t unexpected. The basin, at an elevation of 282 feet below sea level, is the lowest point in North America.

Badwater was also a high point for Hansen. “I felt enthralled by the view of snow capped mountains reflected in the shallow pools,” he said.

The Carlsbad resident used a Canon EOS Rebel T3i.
