Your Scene: Water fountains at the LADWP

Share

Who knew the downtown grounds of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power could be so picturesque? In this photo, Times reader “kayone73” captures the complex’s fountains at dusk. On the left is the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, home of the Los Angeles Opera. Hidden behind a stream of water in the back right is the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall, one of the world’s most acoustically sophisticated concert halls.
