Star chefs will align in Las Vegas this weekend for the eighth and largest Vegas Uncork’d, a four-day event that allows mere mortals to sip, sample and rub elbows with epic kitchen royalty.

And there’s still room at the Grand Tasting on Friday night where Gordon Ramsay, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, Nobu Matsuhisa, Thomas Keller and other top chefs will walk the red carpet.

Vegas Uncork’d, hosted by Bon Appetit magazine, features master dinners and after parties that run Thursday through Sunday.

Visitors casino-hop around the Aria, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand and the Venetian in pursuit of this year’s heady lineup of culinary talent, though some events have been long sold out. Selected events will sell cash-only tickets at the door.

The Grand Tasting will feature signature dishes and more than 50 chefs at the Garden of the Gods Pool at Caesars. Tickets cost $300 for early access (and first shot at the food) and $225 for general admission.

Among other events:

Flay will create a special meal Thursday night at his Mesa Grill in Caesar’s Palace with Giada de Laurentiis, who soon will be opening her own Vegas eatery called Giada inside boutique hotel the Cromwell. (Sold out.)

Batali leads a spirited Burgers, Beers and Boozy Shakes after-party Thursday night at his signature Batali B&B Bastianich Burger & Beer restaurant at the Venetian. Tickets cost $85.

Matsuhisa leads a sip and roll event -- sip sake and eat sushi -- at his Nobu restaurant in Caesars Palace on Friday afternoon. (Sold out.)
