Blue Man Group tricks visitors at Madame Tussauds as an April Fool's joke
Fans who visited the Blue Man Group exhibit at Madame Tussauds got a surprise for April Fool's Day. (Madame Tussauds)

Blue Man Group got in on the April Fool's Day fun by posing one of the real characters with the wax figures at Madame Tussauds at the Venetian. Guests who wandered past the trio discovered that one of the characters was real.

Fans were understandably spooked, but the stunt provided laughs after the initial shock.

While the prank is over, fans can still see the exhibit, along with 100 others spread out over eight rooms, at Madame Tussauds.

Bonus: Guests who purchase a full price ticket to Blue Man Group at the Monte Carlo can snag free admission to Madame Tussauds. Just mention "Madame Tussauds" when purchasing tickets at the Blue Man Group box office.

Blue Man Group just went through a major revamp, and all but two of the acts in the show are different. Yes, they still catch marshmallows in their mouths from across the stage and bring someone from the audience up for a vignette with Twinkies. But from there, the show is completely different with new instruments and a completely retooled ending.

Tickets start at $85.30.

Tickets: Blue Man Group, (800) 258-3626
