"One of the most exciting things about the show is when both bands perform at the end of the concert," Lee Loughnane of Chicago says in a press statement. "Having these 21 very talented musicians playing our greatest hits together puts the excitement level at a fever pitch. From the Heart of Chicago and the Soul of Earth, Wind & Fire, it is an unforgettable experience."
The two bands together sold more than 200 million albums and have 20 Grammy Award nominations. Funk fusion powerhouse Earth, Wind & Fire is probably best known for hits such as "September," "Let's Groove," and "Shining Star." Soft rockers Chicago have hits including "Hard to Say I'm Sorry/Get Away," "Love Me Tomorrow" and "Hard Habit to Break."
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 13.
