American soul singer Michael Grimm has become a staple in Las Vegas since winning season five of “America’s Got Talent.” Even before winning the $1-million prize, he spent 11 years performing in the city.

Now he lands a three-month residency at Vinyl inside the Hard Rock Hotel, starting Friday, June 5, through Sunday, Aug. 30.

Grimm has sold more than 200,000 albums, and his new single, “Starting Over,” hit No. 1 on Amazon.com’s Soft Rock chart.

Winning “America’s Got Talent” by performing “When a Man Loves a Woman” earned him appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where he proposed to his girlfriend, plus appearances on “The Today Show” and “Extra.”

He headlined an “America’s Got Talent” 25-city tour and performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. He’s toured with Stevie Nicks, Heart and Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers.

Gospel and country singer Ann McNair discovered Grimm when he was 13 and gave him his first guitar. Two years later she helped him land his first indie record deal. By 17, Grimm released a single called “John Wayne and Jesus” and earned the first-ever Country Christian Music Association “Star of Tomorrow” Covenant Award.
