The bright orange stuffed toys known as Hungry Figures are familiar mascots of the Weight Watchers line of products, but if you ever felt inclined to squeeze the heck out of one of them to get through a nasty cupcake urge, don’t do it. It might contain a sewing needle.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with Weight Watchers International of New York, have announced a voluntary recall of Hungry Figures and Hungry Magnets, saying that those who purchased the $4 and $7 items should stop using them and return them to Weight Watchers for a full refund or a credit.

The recall was issued after Weight Watchers said it had received two reports from company employees of a sewing needle found in two Hungry Figures. No injuries have been reported. The figures and magnets have orange plush exteriors and are 4 inches to 6 inches long.

About 420,000 of the figures were sold exclusively by Weight Watchers in the U.S. from April to July. An additional 25,000 were sold in Canada. They were manufactured in China.

Consumers are urged to return the toys to Weight Watchers for a refund or credit on another product.
