ESPN is making good use of its new SportsCenter studio in Los Angeles.
Instead of doing the 11 p.m. late SportsCenter from Los Angeles on Wednesday, an 8:30 p.m. show will be anchored by Neil Everett and Stan Verrett from Los Angeles, with the last broadcast done from Bristol, Conn. That way, the network can take advantage of whatever type of energy will be coming out of Staples after Game 5 of the Western Conference finals between the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets, which will also be televised by ESPN.
