Your prized quarterback, Drew Brees, will grace the cover of this year’s Madden NFL video game.

Brees, who led the Saints to a 31-17 Super Bowl victory over the Indianapolis Colts in February, was chosen to be the game’s cover athlete by fans who voted online.

Most likely, Colts fans.

Let’s hope Brees is immune to the notorious ‘Madden curse’ -- a number of the game’s cover athletes have gone on to sustain debilitating injuries or have disappointing seasons.
