Favorites to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Infineon Raceway

Roger Craig, the Hall of Fame running back and three-time Super Bowl champion with the San Francisco 49ers, is the grand marshal for the NASCAR Toyota Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma.

He was asked to pick his favorite NASCAR driver and he said Jeff Gordon. Gordon is a five-time winner in Cup races at Infineon Raceway. He holds the qualifying record at the track and is the only driver with win three Cup races in a row at Infineon Raceway.

Gordon, who starts fifth in today’s race, is among the favorites.

Marcus Ambrose might be the dark horse choice to win the Cup race in Sonoma. He was fastest in the two practice sessions on Saturday and qualified sixth for the race.
