The Ocean View Little League team from Huntington Beach, representing the West Region, won its second game in a row at the Little League World Series on Sunday with a 10-0 win against La Grange, Ky., the Great Lakes Region representative.

In its first two games, the Ocean View team has outscored its opponents 21-0. The Huntington Beach kids are off until Wednesday, when they will face Northwest Region champion Big Sky Little League of Billings, Mont., in a semifinal game in the U.S. bracket.

Ocean View had a five-run second inning and a five-run fourth inning and was in control even though starting pitcher Hagen Danner had an early stretch of wildness, walking three and throwing two wild pitches in the first two innings.

Even though it has scored 21 runs in its first two games, Ocean View has not hit a home run. Instead, it has relied on stretches such as the one it had in the the second inning Sunday, when it hit five singles and took advantage of an error by La Grange.
