Curious about what the infamous Heidi Fleiss has been up to since she relocated to Nevada?

The Las Vegas Review Journal provides this update, all because the one-time Hollywood madam has revealed that when it comes to the 2008 presidential election, she’s made her choice: Hillary Clinton. We’ve noted previously the dangers inherent in certain endorsements, like porn actress Jenna Jameson also endorsing Clinton.

Although the Clinton campaign generally is quick to promote endorsements, we doubt we’ll be seeing this one in a press release. Still, the enterprising Fleiss provided a key quote to the Review Journal that goes to the heart of the demographic trend that the New York senator hopes to ride to the White House:

‘I’m a big fan of Hillary’s. Any woman who’s smart, how can you not be?’ said the 41-year-old Fleiss. ‘Even if you’re a Republican, if you’re a woman and you’re smart, you have to respect her.’

Fleiss, of course, was savvy enough to have earned a bundle running a high-priced call girl ring that attracted a fair number of high-profile clients. But she wasn’t quite nimble enough to avoid three years in federal prison during the late 1990s on charges stemming from her business, including tax evasion and money laundering.
