It’s a rivalry game here at Lakewood, where the Lancers are hosting Long Beach Millikan in a Moore League game that seems certain to have playoff implications down the line.

The game’s importance can be felt in the air -- fans walked into the stadium from blocks away (I’m sure that was because of the obvious shortage of on-campus parking), but still, there were a lot of people making their way in and standing in line for tickets and concessions.

Looks like they’re all in the stands now, though -- a crowd of about 3,500 or so.
