There was a time earlier this season when teams could have beaten Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. In fact, Lake Balboa Birmingham did. But those days have ended because Notre Dame (6-1) is finally back at full strength after injuries devastated its offensive line.

Last week, Larry Thompson returned, joining Erik Jusko, another lineman who had been sidelined. Now the Knights have all the blocking they need for quarterback Dayne Crist, pictured left, and it’s unlikely they’re going to lose a game the rest of the regular season and into the Pac-5 playoffs until, perhaps, they meet Mater Dei.
