Boys’ soccer: Banning wins a wild one

They don’t get much better than this.

Banning and Bell played brilliantly on the Harbor College soccer field, and were locked up in a 3-3 tie after regulation.

But Guillermo Beltran, the Pilot’s junior forward, scored both goals in overtime to give top-seeded Banning a 5-3 victory in the City Championship semifinal on Wednesday.

Banning (18-2-1) will play either El Camino Real or Taft in the final at Contreras High on Saturday.
Bell, seeded fourth, ends the season at 20-4-3.
