There are lots of big guys on the court

OK, I’m not too tall, at 5 feet 3, but I’m feeling even smaller here courtside at Arco Arena watching Mater Dei and Archbishop Mitty prepare for battle in the state Division II boys’ basketball final.

Besides Mater Dei’s Wear twins, David and Travis, being 6-10, Drew Gordon is one giant 6-9 player for Mitty. And Mitty also has players 6-7 and 6-8.

I still think it’s going to be a guard, Mater Dei sophomore Gary Franklin, who decides this one. If Franklin is on, Mater Dei wins. If he’s not, Mater Dei loses.
