Baseball: L.B. Wilson takes 2-0 lead over Norco

The other Southern Section-Toyota Division I semifinal has begun, and Long Beach Wilson’s Aaron Hicks wasted little time making an impact. On the second pitch, he hit a triple. He scored on the third pitch of the game, a wild pitch.

Wilson ended up scoring two runs in the first inning to take a 2-0 lead over Norco. The winner advances to play Simi Valley in Friday’s 7:30 p.m. final at Dodger Stadium.
