Softball: El Segundo vs. North Torrance should be dramatic

This is not only the rubber match, it’s also destined to be an evening of pure drama when North Torrance battles El Segundo in the Southern Section-Toyota Division V semifinals.

Just over the last few weeks, the two Pioneer League foes have swapped some history. On April 18, North Torrance routed El Segundo, 7-0. Then, a month later, the Eagles (24-6) avenged that loss with a 4-0 victory over the Saxons (22-10).

El Segundo, meanwhile, has won six consecutive games and North Torrance has won its last three.
