Baseball: Arcadia is off to 9-0 start

How good is Arcadia? That’s the question to be answered after the Apaches improved to 9-0 on Friday with a 5-0 victory over La Salle.

Arcadia certainly has an outstanding senior pitcher in Bryce Rutherford, who raised his record to 4-0 with the shutout.

Arcadia competes in the Pacific League, and Burbank Burroughs, Pasadena and Crescenta Valley ought to provide some competition.
