Diamond Bar’s Sam Rockwood cleared 6-11 1/2 in the high jump earlier this week during a dual meet against Chino, making him an athlete to watch.
The high jump has some outstanding competitors this season, with Nick Ross of Vista Murrieta having cleared 7-3. Jules Sharpe of Oaks Christian has gone 7-1. Harrison Steed of JSerra has gone 7-0.
