It’s now or never for Anaheim Esperanza, which takes on first-place Huntington Beach Edison Saturday at 11 a.m. at Edison in a Sunset League game.

Esperanza (6-10-1, 1-5) played four games this week in the National Classic and seemed to get its act together, finishing in third place. Now the Aztecs get to take a shot at Edison (13-2, 6-0), which has been off all week and is on the verge of running away with the league title.

Edison is likely to use its senior pitcher, Kurt Heyer. This is the key game for Esperanza trying to get back into the playoff race.
