Baseball: Hahn hits another home run for Mater Dei

Mater Dei Coach Burt Call decided to bring in his closer, Matt Blanchard, in the top of the sixth inning, to face Cal State Fullerton-bound Wes Hatton of Norco with a runner on second and Matt Hobgood on deck. Blanchard struck out Hatton to end the inning, allowing Mater Dei to hold onto a 6-4 lead.

Then Cory Hahn of Mater Dei came up in the bottom of the sixth and hit his second home run of the day off Hobgood for a 7-4 advantage. Hobgood has been pulled after giving up nine hits, striking out eight and walking four.
