At the Public vs. Private School Extravaganza on Saturday, the private schools were the clear victors, raking in three of the four wins.
In the top game of the night, Trinidee Trice and Angelica Sahagun had 18 points apiece to lead Alemany to a 47-46 victory over Diamond Ranch.
Both teams were down key players -- Alemany’s Maya Sotelo and Diamond Ranch’s Janelle Kearney sat out with knee injuries.
Erika Williams scored 23 points for Diamond Ranch.
