One reason Anaheim Servite has won consecutive Pac-5 Division championships is that the Friars keep developing players who move up after their freshmen year and are ready to contribute as sophomores on varsity.

The latest should be sophomore running back Andrew Moore, who’s 6 feet 1, 215 pounds and is earning the reputation as someone to get excited about.

Asked how good Moore is, Coach Troy Thomas said in a text reply, ‘He will be very good.’

Servite opens its season on Sept. 1 at Oceanside.
