Boys’ basketball: Brandon Jolley returns for Pasadena

Brandon Jolley, expected to be one of the top players at Pasadena, returned to the team and scored 18 points on Tuesday night in a 67-65 victroy over Compton Dominguez in the St. John Bosco tournament. EJ Johnson had 25 points for Dominguez.

Trevis Jackson scored 22 points in Santa Monica’s 59-57 win over Taft. Reggie Theus Jr. scored 19 points as Fairfax defeated Moorarpk, 63-48.

St. John Bosco avenged a 31-point to defeat Sylmar last week by routing the Spartans, 91-55. Darien Williams scored 34 points and Isaac Hamilton 21.

Tanner Fanjoy had 21 points in Thousand Oaks’ 71-48 win over Inglewood. Mater Dei defeated Gardena, 78-58. Compton defeated Servite, 65-54.
