National signing day: Tedric Thompson signs with Colorado

One of the last top uncommitted players in the Santa Clarita Valley was Valencia defensive back Tedric Thompson, and he has signed with Colorado.

Colorado assistant coach Gary Bernardi, who came over from San Jose State, has recruited the area for years. His children went to Newhall Hart. He has coached at USC and UCLA.
