Fire Guts Knitwear Plant
Fire gutted the premises of a downtown knitwear manufacturer Tuesday evening for the second time in less than a year.
Los Angeles Fire Department officials estimated damage to building and contents at the Frank L. Robinson Knitwear Co., 1150 S. Flower St., at $850,000.
Fire officials said arson is suspected. Last April 23, another suspicious fire occurred at the site.
