French Right-to-Die Activist Kills Herself

PARIS —
A founding member of the Assn. for the Right to Die with Dignity killed herself last week, the association announced Wednesday.
Marguerite Liegeois, 73, committed suicide last Friday after addressing a letter to all the association’s members explaining that she was in declining health.
She told fellow members that the “only way to a dignified and upright death is to voluntarily interrupt life.”
