Maui Condominium Project Under Way
An official ground breaking has been held for a $9-million, 52-unit condominium complex, to be called the Cascades, overlooking the beach at Kihei on the west or leeward coast of the Hawaiian island Maui. It is a joint venture with Edward W. Wale, president of Wale Development Corp., Irvine, as managing partner and C. Chase Hoffman and Joseph J. Catalano as general partners.
The project will offer four floor plans in one six-story building facing the beach, flanked by two smaller structures, sited around an elevated garden pool area designed by Lifescapes Inc. of Newport Beach. Prices are expected to range from $97,900 to $198,000. The complex at 515 S. Kihei Road is scheduled for occupancy in December.
