Reagan Nominates 2 as Envoys

QUEBEC —
President Reagan said today he will nominate Faith Ryan Whittlesey to be U.S. ambassador to Switzerland and Fernando Enrique Rondon as ambassador to Ecuador.
Whittlesey, who most recently has worked as an assistant to the President for public liaison, was ambassador to Switzerland from 1981 to 1983. Rondon was ambassador to Madagascar from 1980 to 1983 and has since been a director of the office of Andean affairs in the State Department.
