PHOENIX —
Arizona Gov. Bruce Babbitt announced Monday that he will not seek reelection in 1986 or run for the U.S. Senate, saying it was time to “move on.”
Babbitt, a Democrat and often mentioned as a possible candidate for President in 1988, said it was too early to discuss his future plans beyond 1986, but that he would not “rule out anything.”
