Share

The Lakers will try for their eighth consecutive victory and their 50th of the season when they play the Phoenix Suns tonight at Veterans Coliseum.

Phoenix, in danger of slipping out of the playoffs, has lost three of its last four games and may not have center James Edwards and guard Walter Davis available.

Edwards has missed the last two games because of a leg bruise while Davis sprained his right ankle in last Friday’s game against Milwaukee . Both are listed as questionable. The Suns will definitely be without forward Larry Nance, who has missed seven games because of a pulled groin muscle.
