Titans Sign 6-9 Center From Kansas

Cal State Fullerton has signed 6-foot 9-inch basketball center Ron Barnes from Independence College in Kansas, it was announced Friday.

Barnes, a 240-pound center, averaged 6.5 points and 6.2 rebounds last season, helping the Pirates to a 29-4 record. He made 57% of his shot attempts and had 59 blocks. He blocked 80 shots as a freshman. Barnes is the sixth and final player to be signed by Titan Coach George McQuarn.
