If “Threads” succeeded in getting even one viewer to rethink his or her position that nuclear war is “winnable” and “survivable,” then it was worth every penny. It was a classic example of what docudramas should be, but seldom are, and I think the greatest public service KCOP could do is to repeat this program on a regular basis.
