Passionate Pandas Mate for 4th Time

WASHINGTON —
Hsing-Hsing and Ling-Ling, America’s love-struck giant pandas, mated again today for the fourth time in three days, National Zoo officials said.
The nation’s most-watched animal couple bred at 7:10 a.m. after surprising zoo keepers with two romantic encounters Monday and one on Sunday, buoying hopes that the zoo may hear the pitter-patter of little panda paws this fall.
