Dog and Cat Limits Cut: The City Council has reduced the maximum number of dogs and cats residents may legally keep. The revised ordinance, which has been a target of complaints at recent council meetings, sets a sliding scale that allows fewer animals in smaller homes. It reduces the maximum number of pets from six to four per household--but no more than three dogs--for houses on lots smaller than 20,000 square feet.
