Woman’s Body Found in Big Tujunga Canyon
The badly decomposed body of a woman was found Friday morning on a fire trail in Big Tujunga Canyon north of Sunland, but there were no obvious signs of foul play, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman said.
No identification of the body had been made Friday night, and county coroners were expected to conduct an autopsy over the weekend, Deputy Robert Stoneman said.
Stoneman said the fully clothed body, apparently of a woman in her early 30s, was found by a county fireman clearing brush.
