‘The Fires of Creationism’

In your editorial, you came to the intriguing conclusion that a crude, unsubstantiated, incredibly weak theory called evolution is correct.

As a graduate engineer, I believe every science student should learn Heisenberg’s “principle of uncertainty” and the pitfalls of extrapolation, to intellectually appreciate how far-fetched and unscientific the theory of evolution truly is.

Do your editors believe an organ as common as the eye, with its rods, cones, tear ducts, and labyrinth of nerve fibers and millions of interrelated parts was magically evolved? If you found a magnificent palace in the desert would you conclude it was the result of sifting sands rather than testimony to a builder-creator?

Throughout history there have been generations that included idol worshipers. Previous generations had a propensity to worship inanimate objects or people, while modern man sadly has “progressed” to worshiping the dollar and his art, intellect and science. However, the finite human being, despite his arrogance, will never be able to comprehend creation and our infinite Creator.

I prefer to believe the millions of eyewitnesses at Mount Sinai who passed down from generation to generation the perfect wisdom and truth of our Creator as set forth in the Bible.
