The Return of ‘Original Coke’

OK, who’s the marketing genius for Coca-Cola who planned this latest advertising coup? Just as Bob’s Big Boy planned the obvious saving of Big Boy, Coca-Cola has obviously planned the return to the original Coke, following a public outcry. And what else to call the Old Coke but “Coca Cola Classic!”

Do these companies really think they’re putting something over on the public? There would have been no other reason to change Coke’s flavor (not even a Pepsi Challenge) than to glut the advertising market to capture the consumer.

Of course, now that it’ll be Coca Cola Classic, I suppose the price will go up, too. How clever . . . Ha.
