The body of a Tijuana man was discovered Monday on the beach in Border Field State Park, a coroner’s deputy said.
The family of Porfirio Garcia Mendez, 19, reported him missing from a Tijuana beach last week, Deputy County Coroner Everett Mauger said. The cause of death was being investigated.
