A 22-year-old San Diego man was fatally stabbed early Monday during an argument over a Monopoly game, San Diego police said.

Gilberto Timental, of the 1400 block of Pequena Street, died about 2 a.m. Monday from a single stab wound to the chest. Police arrested Timental’s 16-year-old brother Monday morning at the home, where both brothers lived with their parents. Police withheld the younger brother’s name.

Witnesses told police the two brothers began arguing late Sunday evening while playing the board game. Police recovered a 10-inch kitchen knife believed to be the weapon.
