Warner-Lambert Co. reported that its 1985 third-quarter net income rose 7.5% over the third quarter of last year. The company said a strong performance by its U.S. business--particularly ethical pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter products--contributed to its improved earnings. The domestic performance offset the negative effect of the strong U.S. dollar on its international operations.
