Archive Corp. on Monday announced the signing of its first distributor in the Pacific Rim. The Costa Mesa-based manufacturer of magnetic tape drives signed an agreement for an undisclosed sum with Japanese-based Soshin Shoji Kaisha Ltd. At the same time, Archive said that Arrow Electronics Inc. of Melville, N.Y., has signed an undisclosed contract to become a national distributor of Archive products.
