Monrovia : Traffic-Signal Contract
Traffic signals will be modified or installed at eight intersections in Monrovia and two intersections in Irwindale under a $457,650 contract awarded by the county Board of Supervisors to C.T. & F. Inc., a firm based in Bell Gardens.
Most of the work, which will begin in June, will be done along Foothill Boulevard in Monrovia and on Myrtle Avenue in Monrovia and Irwindale. Traffic will not be restricted and roads will remain open until completion of the project, which is scheduled for October. The county will administer the project, and federal funds as well as funds from Monrovia and Irwindale will be used for the work.
